Through its global consulting division, Mayo Clinic will support the design and implementation of a future-ready, AI-driven, patient-centric healthcare ecosystem across these campuses.

The Adani Group has unveiled its plans to invest INR 6,000 Cr in building two large-scale integrated health campuses in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, marking the conglomerate’s major foray into healthcare, education, and skill development.

The investment is part of a broader INR 60,000 Cr commitment made by the Adani family in 2022 to redefine social infrastructure in India.

Earlier this year, DHN covered this first, when Gautam Adani tweeted the development announcing Adani Health City.

Each health campus will feature a 1,000-bed hospital, medical college, advanced research centers, and dedicated wellness infrastructure. These "Adani Healthcare Temples," as the initiative has been dubbed, aim to offer world-class, affordable care while also fostering innovation and medical education.

“Exactly three years ago, on my 60th birthday, my family pledged INR 60,000 Cr to redefine healthcare, education, and skill development in India. The Adani Healthcare Temples are our first major step – world-class, affordable 1,000-bed campuses in Ahmedabad and Mumbai with medical colleges, research centres and wellness spaces all integrated together,” said Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, while addressing shareholders at Adani Enterprises’ annual general meeting.

The initiative will be developed in strategic collaboration with Mayo Clinic, a globally renowned US-based healthcare institution. Through its global consulting division, Mayo Clinic will support the design and implementation of a future-ready, AI-driven, patient-centric healthcare ecosystem across these campuses.

Known for its leadership in advanced clinical care and systems integration, Mayo Clinic will help ensure global standards in medical infrastructure, clinical protocols, and research capabilities within the new facilities.

The Group also confirmed that these two campuses are only the beginning. More integrated health cities are planned across India in the years ahead, furthering Adani’s ambition to transform the nation’s healthcare landscape.
