Tech Giant Amazon has launched “Amazon Clinic” in India, an online consultation service that allows users to connect with doctors for more than 50 medical conditions.

The service, currently accessible via the Amazon app on Android and iOS, provides consultations starting at INR 299.

Previously, Amazon Clinic was available only to beta users, as first reported by DHN in July, but has now fully rolled out nationwide.

The platform offers both instant doctor consultations and scheduled appointments, with each session lasting between 10 and 30 minutes.

Available specialties include dermatology, gynecology, pediatrics, nutrition, and counseling. All medical records are anonymized and stored securely, and each doctor listed on the platform has at least three years of telemedicine experience.

Key Features

Consultation Fees: Ranges from INR 299 to INR 799 depending on the doctor’s specialization.

Follow-Up Support: Each consultation includes seven days of unlimited free follow-ups.

Integrated Pharmacy: Users can purchase prescribed medications directly from Amazon’s pharmacy store using the app.

Non-Emergency Service: Amazon Clinic is intended for non-urgent health issues or follow-up consultations after diagnosis.

How to Access Amazon Clinic on the Amazon App

To use Amazon Clinic, follow these steps:

1. Open the Amazon app on your Android or iOS device.

2. Go to the ‘’Pharmacy Health & Household” section.

3. Select “Pharmacy” to find Amazon Clinic.

4. Create a profile with your basic details, including name, age, gender, and phone number.

5. Choose between an online consultation or an in-person appointment, depending on your needs.

Earlier, Amazon merged its Amazon Clinic telehealth service with its One Medical primary care platform on its amazon.com platform.

This move comes over a year after the retail giant acquired One Medical for $3.9 billion, aiming to enhance its healthcare offerings. The integration aimed to simplify the patient experience by offering more care options and reducing the steps needed to access care, globally.
