Arunachal Govt Launches Digital Scan Platforms to Enhance Patient Experience

‘Scan & Feedback’ allows patients and their attendants to submit their experiences, complaints, or suggestions online, aiming to ensure better service and accountability.

In a major push to improve healthcare services, Arunachal Pradesh Health and Family Welfare Minister Biyuram Wahge has recently launched two new software platforms at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS). 

Reportedly, the platforms, ‘Scan & Find’ and ‘Scan & Feedback’, are designed to enhance the patient experience. 

‘Scan & Find’ is an indoor navigation tool that helps patients and visitors easily locate various hospital departments and facilities. 

While, as per reports, another new platform ‘Scan & Feedback’ allows patients and their attendants to submit their experiences, complaints, or suggestions online, aiming to ensure better service and accountability.

This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to using technology to make healthcare more accessible and efficient for everyone.

Other Initiatives

In a similar development, days back, an AI-driven mental health self-assessment tool developed by INFIHEAL was introduced at the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) and the TRHIMS.

The tool aims to enhance the identification and management of mental health concerns. It uses AI algorithms to provide individuals with insights into their mental health, allowing for early detection of issues and enabling timely interventions.

The Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) was founded in 2017. The organization offers comprehensive healthcare services and medical education to the people of North-Eastern India. It aims to provide high-quality, affordable healthcare and to train competent, compassionate physicians through excellence in teaching, patient care, and medical research
