Auretics & CSIR-NRDC Join hands for Healthcare Innovation

Auretics Limited has entered into a Technology Transfer Agreement with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), facilitated by the National Research Development Corporation (NRDC).

The agreement, which focuses on advancing healthcare innovation, was signed during the opening ceremony of the CSIR Innovation Complex in Mumbai.

The partnership revolves around a clinically-tested herbal formulation for cartilage regeneration, developed by CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT) in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. This formulation targets early-stage arthritis and joint health issues, offering a cost-effective solution for patients.

Prominent attendees included Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Science and Technology, along with Dr VK Saraswat and Dr VK Paul from NITI Aayog. Dr N Kalaiselvi, Director General of CSIR, highlighted the significance of the science-industry partnership.

Arjun Gupta, CEO of Auretics Limited, expressed optimism about the collaboration, stating it could significantly improve treatments for cartilage-related conditions. Dr Arvind Kumar Gupta of CSIR-IHBT described the formulation as a breakthrough in combating cartilage degeneration, emphasizing its clinical research foundation.

This collaboration aims to enhance healthcare access and spur innovation, contributing to India's goal of integrating traditional knowledge with modern scientific advancements. The initiative is seen as a step toward creating a healthier, self-reliant nation.
