Baby Memorial Hospitals Appoints Mohanachandran as Group Head – IT Applications

Baby Memorial Hospitals, a KKR-managed healthcare platform, has announced the appointment of Mohanachandran as its new Group Head – IT Applications.

A seasoned healthcare IT leader with over two decades of experience, Mohanachandran has developed expertise in NextGen Enterprise HIS Solutions, including integrations with RIS, LIS, Draeger, ICCA, and ERP platforms such as SAP and Oracle.

His professional portfolio covers healthcare project management, business analysis, IT infrastructure, capacity planning, resource optimization, and disaster recovery systems.

Prior to this role, he served as Head of IT – Maharashtra for Apollo Hospitals, where he led initiatives in device-assisted telemedicine, Tele ICU, Smart Ambulance technologies, wearable health solutions, AI and Analytics, and Health Informatics.

His leadership contributed to compliance achievements including JCI, NABH, and ISMS certifications.

Mohanachandran has also held leadership positions at Meitra Hospitals, Fortis Healthcare, Wipro, AIMS Cochin, and Amrita Technologies, where he played a pivotal role in advancing healthcare technology and digital transformation to improve patient outcomes.
