Cipla Launches CiplaMed 2.0, a Knowledge Platform for Healthcare Professionals

To provide reliable and latest updates to the healthcare professionals, Cipla launched CiplaMed 2.0. This will give clinically relevant information of around 19 specialties from the global medical fraternity. 

Cipla has launched CiplaMed 2.0 to provide reliable, latest and accurate updates to medical professionals. The platform is an advanced version of industry leading knowledge platform that provides information to the medical fraternity.

Further, it is an integrated omnichannel platform for healthcare professionals that helps in digital engagement and access to medical information. This aims to show the significance of digital platforms in the healthcare training and use of technology to support healthcare professionals.  

The knowledge platform offers clinically relevant data across 19 specialties and mainly focuses on patient care. Scientific articles, podcasts, webinars, expert talks, patient education resources and content, all are blended from CiplaMedX, Cipla's video content platform.  

Cipla said that CiplaMed 2.0 uses automated systems and power analytics techniques that potentially transform and share information in the pharmaceutical industry.  

As per the company, the platform users can easily share and store information. They can also have access to content that is customised for doctors' specialisations.  

'œWith a steady month-on- month growth rate of approximately 2x over the past three months, the platform has garnered a dedicated user base of 12,000 professionals,' said Cipla.'¯ 

The company added, since CiplaMed 2.0 started, the platform has been able to adapt to the changing needs of healthcare professionals.  

Cipla was also betting on the digitisation of emerging drug segments. It signed an agreement with IndoHealth services LLP (a digital health firm) and invested INR 40 Cr. The company invested a big amount to strategise the leveraging digital assets and provide affordable medicine to all.
