Healthians, one of India’s leading at-home diagnostics companies, has launched its mobile healthcare initiative ‘Health on Wheels’ in Mumbai.

The newly launched initiative comprises mobile vans equipped with the latest medical equipment, which offer residents on-spot health check-ups.

At the event, Deepak Sahni, Founder and CEO, Healthians, said, “Health awareness is important, but timely diagnostics are the real game-changer. Through Health on Wheels, we’re bringing the lab to people’s homes — ensuring that health screenings are no longer an afterthought but a regular part of life.”

The vans equip all essential modern diagnostic equipment designed for on-the-spot preventive healthcare.

Some of the equipment included are Digital Blood Pressure Monitors, BMI measurement devices, ECG Machines, and sample collection tools.

More about the Mobile Van

The chief vision of this initiative is to make early detection and wellness checkups a part of routine life by providing services at residents’ doorsteps.

The program begins with various free health screening camps in key housing societies, enabling preventive care to be easily accessible to urban residents.

Under these camps, the residents can benefit from complimentary checks for blood pressure (BP), body mass index (BMI), and electrocardiograms (ECG), along with expert-led wellness consultations before and after the screenings.

Additionally, selected blood tests are offered, with the option of immediate sample collection or scheduled appointments, depending on fasting requirements.

Future Plans

Initially launched in Delhi NCR, the service conducts 14-20 health camps each month and has expanded to other cities, including Mumbai and Bangalore, marking Healthians’ mission to add 10 healthy years to every Indian’s life.

Additional services, such as subscription-based senior care, are already in the pipeline for the program's future phases.
