Philips is leveraging AI and ML through its Service Hub’s remote connection services to proactively monitor system performance.

Philips India, a leader in health technology and innovation, has launched its latest interventional system, the Azurion, designed for advanced care across cardiology, neurology, vascular procedures, and surgery.

Introduced to a group of 80 specialist interventionalists at the Philips Innovation Campus in Bengaluru, the Azurion aims to optimize patient outcomes by enabling faster, more precise treatments.

The new Azurion system offers several features that enhance procedural efficiency and imaging quality. Its advanced C-arm rotation and angulation capabilities allow for optimal imaging angles, while new parking features enable quick transitions between 2D and 3D imaging.

The system also includes a head immobilizer to improve stroke care and automatic beam rotation to ensure correctly oriented images across all angles. With table-side controls, clinicians can remain in the sterile field, enhancing both convenience and procedural safety.

Moreover, Philips is leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning through its Service Hub’s remote connection services to proactively monitor system performance.

This allows for predictive maintenance, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact the Azurion’s functionality, ultimately maximizing uptime in busy angio suites.
