The facility also enables live demonstrations of high-precision robotic applications in areas like cell/tissue culture, diagnostics, and sterile environments.

Tata Elxsi, in partnership with DENSO Robotics Europe and AAtek, has inaugurated the Robotics and Automation Innovation Lab at its Frankfurt office.

This state-of-the-art facility is set to shape the future of robotics automation across industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and food science.

The lab is equipped for both proof-of-concept (POC) and full-scale development, serving as a global research and development hub.

It focuses on modular automation, accelerating product development, and simplifying maintenance to meet the rising global demand for automation solutions.

The facility also enables live demonstrations of high-precision robotic applications in areas such as cell/tissue culture, diagnostics, and sterile environments.

By leveraging AI-driven analytics, the lab will support breakthroughs in personalized medicine, hospital lab automation, drug discovery, and bioprocessing.

Its services include product design and engineering, platform development, and regulatory compliance support.

The lab is open to researchers and students from the Frankfurt Innovation Center (FIZ) and the Hessen startup ecosystem, fostering innovation and collaboration in the region.

The launch event was attended by leaders from the partner organizations, including Manjunath Kulkarni, VP, Tata Elxsi; Arun Damodaran, CEO, AAtek Group; and Dirk Schöffler, Head, DENSO Robotics Europe.

In another similar development, in September, Tata Elxsi unveiled the 'xG-Force' lab in Bengaluru to drive 5G innovation across multiple industries.

This new facility provides ready-to-use infrastructure, advanced tools, and a collaborative partner ecosystem to support applications in sectors such as transportation, healthcare, Industry 4.0, media, and communications.

Leveraging its expertise in digital engineering, AI, and automation, Tata Elxsi aims to create transformative solutions for consumers and enterprises.

Acting as the system integrator, the company will utilize its proprietary platforms—Neuron for autonomous networks, TETHER for connected vehicles, TEngage for digital health, and TEDAx for big data engineering—to develop cutting-edge 5G technologies.
